I find it interesting that word on the street (message boards) is pretty much discounting Bonneville and Burley this year yet the sports writers have them 2nd and 3rd. Who’s right?

Well, Frank, there isn’t a LOT of legitimacy with the early polls.
Writers tend to stick with tradition until things start to transpire. We have a grip on things for the most part, but some journalists aren’t going to know everything another region’s journalist knows.
For example, the girls poll – now that the season is five games deep – is just now starting to shape up and it’s been out for three weeks.
Keep in mind these polls are all for entertainment and are hardly ever accurate early in the season.

Yeah, look at Soda Springs @ #3. This is just a carry-over from last year. Soda will be lucky to win one district game this year.
